Econ and management

Ive applied for econ and management, however Im worried that my stats aren't good enough, my predicteds are good, A*A*A, the A in maths, but my GCSES were average ranging from 8-6s. I also feel like my personal statement is mostly based on economics. Ive applied Kings, Durham and Warwick. I also haven't taken the TMUA, so im nervous for Warwick, as its my top.

They look fine, don't stress. Focus on your TMUA, as that matters more than your GCSEs.

Honestly, I don’t think your application is weak, but I also wouldn’t say it’s guaranteed. AAA predictions are strong overall, and having an A in Maths isn’t unusual. GCSEs around 8–6 are quite common, not a big strength, but usually not a deal breaker either.

A PS that’s more economics focused can be okay, depending on how well you link it to management. If that connection is clear, it matters less.

Not taking TMUA can feel worrying, especially since Warwick is your top choice. But it’s optional, so it’s more of a bonus than a requirement.
