Help for mmi at HULL YORK

I have an interview tmr at a different med school!
So what I have done is research the different question types and split them into categories
NHS HOT TOPICS
For these, I have made flashcards on a couple I was interested in e.g. abortion/7 day NHS/privatisation etc...
Then just practice these prompts but do not write a sript for them as you are likely to forgot a big script in the moment
PERSONAL MOTIVATION
These are the classic why medicine, why this uni, why not a nurse etc.. These you can again write some prompts on a flashcards and honestly just rote learn these as one is bound to show up
MEDICAL ETHICS/ROLEPLAY
These are my favourite. Know the ethical pillars inside and out, and understand what you should do in common scenarios such as when to break confidentiality/how to break bad news to a patient/what to do if a patient refuses treatment etc...
PERSONAL QUALITIES
I made a bank of anecdotes so you can apply like 3 to any question given such as tell me about a time when you demonstrated XYZ, or what are your strengths and weaknesses
There are way more but this is the main body of it...

I am also a big acronym fan so I have made a few.
For example when I know that they are testing my communication I use spikes (Setting, perception, invitation, knowledge, empathise and summarise)
Or for conflict I use LEAF (Listen, empathise, apologise if appropriate and find a solution)
You can make your own but you get the idea. These just help structure and answer
