Resits and got into med/dent schools?

Anyone who resat a couple gcses and still got accepted into top med/dent schools??!!

Ive done many research for ppl who are in the same situation as me but its either they got accepted in non Russell or js no reply anymore.

For context me og gcses were 9887665554

And resat four to 9999888754 the 5 and 4 is in cs and french.

I do have ecf during my secondary school life of my grandad chronic illness that continued throughout my secondary, however there was no sudden abruption in my GCSEs period, he is js getting worse and relies on med and oxygen support every afternoon.

Ive check my case with unis like kings, imperial, cambridge, ucl and stuff and my ecf is listed and accepted but idk if its even enough to explain my four resits…

Pls enlighten me😭😭 or you could even give me some ideas on what to do to my profile to make me at least a competitive applicant!

I am currently restarting year 12 with new subjects coz now my gcses resits finally met the threshold to study stem subjects, and now im studying chem maths bio and physics and aiming to get at least three or four A star!

Any advice would be sufficient! Tyy
