uni courses with finance probs

hey! so im in year 11 rn so by no means under time pressure but i just wanted to gather some info on courses.

im going to take maths, fm, cs and econ and was looking into some courses. the ones which caught my eye were MORSE (which ik is very prestigious) and EFDS at imperial. does anyone have any recommendations of reputable and similar courses (eg at LSE, St Andrews, oxbridge, etc). I feel like im probably leaning towards finance of some sort but depending on how much i like econ at a level i would definitely consider something like finance and econ or something applied maths related.

also whats the general opinion on going into finance (maybe an actuary??) or would there be any alternative paths for my sort of niche. Thank you so much!

LSE does maths with data science or econ with data science. however, my brother is currently in his second year at uni studying maths and he wants to go into finance and apparently maths is a more diverse degree so will open up more job prospects according to him.

Try looking into apprenticeships. They are far better. If you start getting work experience (physical ideally, but digital too) now you will be way ahead of the game. Also try out some maths competitions for bragging rights in CVs.
