A*AA requirement, A*A*B predicted

I really wanna apply for maths at manchester (A*AA required A* in maths) however my predicted are maths(A*), physics (A*), chemistry(B). Does anyone have any experience of a situation like this and know what my chances would be of getting accepted?

Hi @sjdhksskkskd

I think the best thing to do in this situation is contact the universities admissions team.

Sometimes entry are requirements are usually based of UCAS - you can work out what each grade is in UCAS points through this link Calculate your UCAS Tariff points | UCAS

Hope this helps

It's fine to have an aspirational choice a grade above your predicted. Just make sure that most of your choices are at your predicted grades and that you have an insurance choice a grade or two below.

Maths at Manchester seems like a popular course meaning that they can probs afford to be picky. Worth an application though as long as ur other choices match ur predicted

the course is quite competitive, consider moving the B up to an A (it can make a lot of difference), by explaining your situation to your teacher and perhaps showing you are doing extra work...
if you want to 100% get in , A*A*A would 100% get you in
