What is this for? Given that this thread is in a-level choice and study help, are you looking at what options to choose for A-level?

I personally wouldn’t say that there are “easiest subjects” as such, there might be some subjects or exam boards that are easier or fairer than others but I don’t think that there’s an overall easiest subject to be had.

Not that I’ll convince anyone or honestly say that a subject like Business Studies or Sociology is as hard as Further Maths or Chemistry (to give an extreme example) but it really depends on your strengths and weaknesses. Plus many universities don’t care about soft vs strong subjects anymore as long as you meet the entry requirements. I’d select the subjects you think that you’ll either do the most well in or that you’d think that you’ll enjoy the most.

Are you looking to go to university? If so, what courses do you have in mind? Because many courses have required or preferred subjects (whether that’s non-negotiable or de facto) especially depending on the university.

The easiest subjects for you should therefore be the ones that you’re either A) most and genuinely interested in or B) most academically inclined and able in. This is on a personal basis.

Obviously there are exceptions but usually that would be my rule of thumb.

It’s worth checking the syllabus of each subject that catches your eye to help verify this.

Not about funny, it’s more about what subject you think that you’d enjoy more.

Are you trying to select A-level subjects? If you want to go to university, what courses do you have in mind?
