Hello,

The Digital forensics and cybersecurity course offered by Kingston University teaches network security, ethical hacking, encryption, digital forensics, threat analysis, and incident response using real forensic tools (Splunk, Kali Linux and FTK) in specialist labs, and more. The course has been accredited by the British computer society (BCS) meaning it meets the standards for Chartered IT Professional (CITP) status. And it is based in Penrhyn Road campus which offers specialised labs for this course and you can also apply for a placement year to gain additional experience. 😊☺️

Hi there! I currently study at London Metropolitan University.

Our Digital Forensics and Cyber Security course ranked first in the country with 100% overall satisfaction.

While I don't have direct experience with your course in particular, I've had a look at the course page here! Your modules look really interesting ranging from hardware and programming in first year to ethical hacking in your third year - and accredited with full CITP status by BCS.
Have a look at the modules we offer on the course (available in the link above)! Different universities may cover different topics so have a look and decide if you would enjoy the content 🙂

The overall environment at London Met is really welcoming in my experience! People are friendly and the staff are helpful. The campus at Holloway is also really close to multiple overground and underground stations so wether you're commuting from close-by accommodation or from home (like me) it's easily accessible by public transport with loads of handy shops nearby,

I hope this could help!! Good luck with your studies!

Hi, I would advise you to look at each universities website and what they offer within the course and university overall. A better way of coming to decision would be to attend open days if possible, you get a close look at the campus and learning environment. Its important for you to be confident in your decision.

Hi, If you’re looking into studying Cyber Security, I just wanted to mention The University of Staffordshire London as another option to consider. I study Computer Science here, and there’s a specialist BSc (Hons) Cyber Security course that’s very hands-on and industry-focused.
The course combines core Computer Science with specialist cyber security content like ethical hacking, network security, cyber operations, and forensic computing. There’s a dedicated cyber lab with its own private network and the option to take a placement year. The course is BCS accredited, which is useful for professional recognition later on.
If your priority is gaining real-world cyber security skills rather than just theory, Staffordshire University London is definitely worth looking into alongside the other universities you mentioned. I hope this was helpful and if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out!
