what skills could be relevant from biology that i can talk about for my UCAS application
Not really, and it's better to not just repeat aspects of your A-levels (especially irrelevant ones) in your PS! Just focus on talking about relevant things you've done, especially the things the admissions tutors don't know (remember they can see all the subjects you're taking from the rest of your UCAS form...!)

Hi there, If you’re applying for Computer Science at London South Bank University and your background is in Biology, you can absolutely draw on relevant skills from your previous study. Biology develops a strong foundation in analytical thinking, problem-solving, data interpretation, and structured scientific methodology. These abilities translate well into Computer Science, where logical reasoning, attention to detail, and the ability to work systematically are essential. You can also highlight any experience with data handling, statistical analysis, experimental design or the use of digital tools and software during your biology studies, as these demonstrate technical competence and an aptitude for computational work.

For entry onto the Computer Science BSc (Hons) at LSBU, you will need 112 UCAS tariff points, and you can visit UCAS for further guidance on how different qualifications contribute to this tariff. A GCSE Maths grade 4 (C) or equivalent is also required. If you do not meet the standard entry criteria, we are happy to review any previous skills, knowledge or experience you have gained outside formal education, and we encourage you to share any extenuating circumstances that may be relevant to your application. You may also wish to consider our Computer Science with Foundation Year BSc (Hons) programme, where Level 2 Maths requirements can be waived if you hold a Level 3 Maths qualification or a Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject such as A-Level IT.
