English Durham and Warwick

I sent my application to Durham and Warwick in November for English literature, and still haven’t got anything back. And I got offers from Bristol, York and Newcastle about a month ago .I have seen people start getting offers for English literature for these two universities, is this supposed to be normal ?

Hi! I also applied for English Literature at Durham and haven’t heard back yet. I’ve seen that a few people have received offers, though not many. Durham tends to be pretty slow, so I wouldn’t worry too much! Hopefully, they’ll get back to us soon with good news! (I’ve also received offers from Bristol, York, Exeter, and Queen Mary.)

Durham are notoriously slow. I had friends who got offers from Durham last year. Some got them before Christmas, some after. The wait doesn’t mean anything.

this is quite normal for Warwick.
Warwick English tends to take a bit longer to reply, and offers often come out in batches rather than all at once. Seeing some people get offers does not mean that applications submitted earlier are being overlooked.
As long as your application status has not changed, it usually just means it is still under consideration.
