Student finance England Decision

I'm not sure why SLC said I don't qualify for full student finance. They said I only qualify for tuition fee. I have 4 British children, it will really be difficult to study nursing with only tuition fee support. I have a Nigerian passport with spouse visa, married to a british citizen. I have lived in England for over 5 years. How did my status not meet the requirements. I believe this is discrimination

Hi i'm sorry this has happened to you. Check on your application on SFE if there is any notifications on tasks or information you need to provide. Otherwise you can ring them to speak to someone one on one or send an email. Your university should also be able to provide some financial support to mature leaners or low income families. There are a few different bursaries you could apply for if you reach out to your university.
