Which A-levels should I do if I don't really know what to do

I’m interested in the A level subjects Chemistry, Maths, Economics, and Politics. I would ideally want to keep a path to medicine open but I would also want as much flexibility in my next course as possible.
I would like to hear advice especially from those who suffer from the same problem of not knowing what to do in the future

Realistically, if you want the possibility of medicine, you’ll have to do chemistry and maths. Have you done any taster session or anything for economics and politics? Maybe you could take 4 then drop 1 if your sixth form lets you. Both subjects have overlap, but obvs economics is more maths and graphs. Do you know what sort of degree you might want to do other than medicine?

If you have an interest in medicine or related healthcare courses then biology and chemistry would be the go-to choices. Is there a reason you aren’t looking at bio?
For humanities, one of politics or econ will be fine. For econ or other mathsy degrees (including maths) further maths is a good idea if you think you can handle it.
4 isnt the best decision unless your school requires it or you plan to drop on after the first term or similar.

Defo choose maths if you are unsure. Chem is a must for medicine
