NTU - Access to HE entry

I have an offer from NTU which says to pass the Access to HE course overall with 60 credits at level 3. Does this mean the grades I achieve don't matter as long as I have passed, or do I still need to hit the UCAS tariff requirements?

Hi! I cannot say for certain so if I’m wrong I do apologise but out of the 60 credits, 15 will be ungraded and the other 45 will be pass, merit or distinction. Unless they’ve specified they want 30 merit and 15 distinction or something similar then I do believe you just have to achieve at least a pass in every unit so as long as you don’t fail any assignments then I’m sure you’d be okay

Hi,

It's great to hear that you've applied to study with us at NTU!

We recognise that Access to HE courses are specifically focused on furnishing you with everything you'll need to start and be successful in an undergraduate degree, meaning that often a pass in the course (provided the course is 60 credits and a level 3 qualification) would be sufficient for entry, and we're able to make an offer without any UCAS point requirements. Some courses may have additional conditions, especially if a specific subject is required for entry; all of your outstanding conditions should be listed on your UCAS Hub.

If you want to double-check any of your conditions, you can always get in touch with our Admissions team, and they'd be happy to review your application in detail and confirm!

I hope this helps, let us know if you have any questions!
