Desert Safari Dubai
I’m planning to book the Dubai Desert Safari but I’m not sure if it’s really worth it. For those who have actually tried it, how was your experience? Was the dune bashing, camp, and overall trip good, or is it something that looks better in pictures than in real life?
I’d really appreciate honest opinions and suggestions before I book it. Which type of safari did you choose, morning, evening, or overnight, and would you recommend it to others?

Tbh I was also skeptical and thought it might be overhyped, but the desert part surprised me more than the camp. The ride was fun, views were great, and the timing mattered a lot. I booked an evening safari with and liked that it was paced well, not rushed, not overly long either.

It is worth it if you pick the right option. Evening safaris are the best balance, cooler weather, sunset views, dinner, and shows. Dune bashing is fun but short, so do not overpay for luxury camps. Morning safaris feel rushed. Overnight works only if you like quiet and simple conditions. Book a smaller group to avoid the theme park feeling.

I had a great time on the evening safari! The camp with food and entertainment was a lot of fun, and the dune bashing was thrilling. I would unquestionably suggest it, however you might want to be cautious when it comes to the bashing section if you don't enjoy rapid rides.
