Teesside CAS Timeline – Jan 2026 Intake (Need Recent Updates)

Hi everyone,

I’m applying for the January 2026 intake at Teesside University (Middlesbrough main campus). My CAS Shield is currently at 61% as of yesterday.

For those who already received their CAS or are further along in the process:

How many days did it take for you to move from 60–61% to CAS?

Has anyone already received their CAS for Jan 2026?

Are the timelines slower this intake?

Just trying to understand what to expect. Any recent experiences would help. Thanks!

Good morning,
I can see you have posted this in the coventry forum but mentioned Teesside - i can give some general advice from our side.

CAS sheild applications can take a while to progress - it is a busy time for the staff at the university managing intakes of everyone. It may take a while to progress even if you have completed all the steps on your half.
My advice is try not to worry and double check all your documents are uploaded correctly.

If you are still worried you can contact the university team - they should have contact details available on your universities website.

Hope this helps

Hi Amber, thank you for your reply.
I just wanted to ask one thing for clarity: if a student is asked by the university to redo the credibility questionnaire after the stated deadline, and completes it as instructed, does this normally cause any rejection issues later, or is the application still considered as usual?
Thank you.

Good morning,

We hope you are well!
Eventually, in such a case where the University itself is requesting the "student to re-do the credibility questionnaire" but after the deadline, that shouldn't cause any rejection issues later on; obviously if that would be the case, it is always better to keep a record and evidence of this request and the student will just need to do what the University has requested. Keeping proof is a good way to stay on top of any potential issue arising later.

As this is something the university would eventually have requested, then we suggest not to worry and double check all needed documents are uploaded and steps completed appropriately. If you have any further doubts you could email back to the email the request came from clarifying that you have done what requested correctly and your query doubts.

Enjoy the holidays! Happy New Year!
