Personal statement showing up as AI?
I'm finishing up my personal statement, I haven't used any ai however seeing some students get penalised for their work supposedly being ai has scared me before. According to zeroGPT my work is 25%, when I paste segments it goes down to 9%. Should I try to make changes to somehow lower this score or is it not a cause of concern?

Try running it through other ai checkers, one isn't always reliable. If you're consistently flagging that high maybe have a look at what specific section is bad. However, these ai checkers are also very cautious and if your writing style is consistent throughout it will probably be fine

If you know you haven't used any AI, why bother putting it into a checker?
It just creates more stress for yourself.
I've looked at zeroGPT's privacy policy and luckily they claim to disregard your text once they've processed the result. I would NOT follow what the above user has posted, as you don't know what other sites would do with your PS.

Do not run your personal work through these websites!
They are there to 'harvest' academic material for their use - and you will have no control over where it ends up.
