UCAS predicted grades

Once I pay for my UCAS application, can I still get my teacher to change my predicted grades?

Most schools don't really allow you to change your predicted grades after they've been released to you.
Once you pay on your side, your application gets sent to your school's counselor, who is then responsible for inputting your reference and grades before sending it off to universities.

When you 'pay and submit' the application goes to the UCAS-person at your school for them to add your reference and your predicted grades, and then they will finally submit your completed application to UCAS.

Its pointless trying to persuade teachers to inflate your predicted grades - these are typically over optimistic anyway so all you are doing is making it even more likely that you will be facing disappointment in August.

Hi,

As mentioned above, once you’ve submitted your UCAS application, your predicted grades are entered by the designated team at your school / college. If any changes are agreed, it’s best to speak to your teachers as soon as possible so they can discuss and update them with the person responsible for entering the grades.

Hope this helps,

Hello,

Once your Personal statement is submitted I don't believe your predicted grades can be altered.

You aren't in control of your predicted grades.
The school will set predicted grades that they think you can achieve.
If they set grades that they think you can't achieve, that will ultimately be to your detriment - because it means on results day (if your teachers are right, and they are professionals who have done this before) you are left with whatever is available in clearing - which might not be less choice than you could have if you apply to some realistic options the first time around.

If you don't actually know the answer, why are you commenting.
