Level 7 MSc nursing too intense

Dear SFE im currently on msc adult Nursing Pre-registration and I am finding level 7 academic writing extremely difficult i get distinction in practicals but the academic writing is extremely tough added to this the condensed nature of the course isn't great mostly non practical skills lectures.
Is there anyway if university let me i can transfer into year 2 on undergraduate Nursing and get sfe finance?

Hi there,

When would this course start and would it be a full time course? Can you confirm the full name of the course, what university would attend and what is the course duration? Do you already hold any qualifications?

Thanks, Drew

I'd be trying to transfer to year 2 on the Bachelor of Nursing BN in same university so university of Liverpool where im currently doing the nursing Pre-registration at MSc level but as I stated the course isn't in detail enough.

When did you start the MSc Nursing course and do you know when you would be transferring to the undergraduate one? Thanks, Leah.

I started January 2025 my husbands ill so if university allow me to it will be 2026 September. Also if I need to take a year out due to husband chronic illness and I go back to masters (my husbands illness is probably why im extra struggling with the academic writing level 7 side. Will I be able to still get funding for 2nd year of masters?) I'm just exploring all my options ive worked hard to get onto masters.

Hi Geri, would you be leaving with any qualification from the course or would it be a transfer over?

Thanks, Jason

Transfer over might have to be after a year out now 🤦

Can you literally put a msc nursing pre registration on hold for a year if lecturers suggest it due to personal circumstances then resume the second year funding after year gap?

Hi Geri,

Yes you can suspend for a year and return to the course if that is what you want to do.

Thanks, Drew
