Cambridge Human Inspired AI (CHIA) 2026 Fall

There was a thread last year for this program, but I didn't find one for this year.
Did anyone hear anything yet (I know it's a bit early, but the fact that the mphil program does not interview and only ask for two 200-words make me wonder how they manage to make decisions with so few information lol )

Heya! I applied to the program too 😊 They recently extended the application deadline, and from what they shared, applicants who submitted before the funding deadline should hear back by the end of February / early March. Really glad you started this thread hopefully we’ll get updates soon!

Yea Feb/March seems a long way to go, hopefully we can hear something soon 🙂

I also wonder what the class size is. Too bad I missed virtual tour, seem like no one asked this questions

does anyone know if we get an email if rejected/accepted or is it just to check the portal for updates?

I‘m pretty sure you would get an email. And I've heard rumors that you should first recceive a DP email if you would eventually be admitted lol

How long did it take for your portal to change from submitted to under review?

Hii so for me it took less than a week cant remember how long exactly

wait do you apply this year and got under review? I submitted on Dec2nd, still stuck on submitted.

I submitted end of nov then it took like around a week to say under department review

oh good for you! is it still showing under review now? hopefully you would hear back before end of Dec. I guess I didn't make it into the first review batch lol
