Criminal Record Declaration Check for a Zoology course at Swansea University

I received an email from Swansea where they sent me my Swansea student ID and log on details for their applicant portal. I didn't log on on the day I received the email but the day after.

When I logged on, under tasks it says 'Upload Required Documents' and when clicking it, it asks for a 'Criminal Record Declaration Check' to be done through an online form. However the date it says it is required by was the day I received the email from Swansea. So I have not completed it by it's required date - but being given less then one day to complete it seems unlikely.

I've attempted three times to complete the form but every time I do so and then exit the page, Including if I log back in again, the 'Upload Required Documents task' is still due.

Will this affect my application and should I email the University to ask further about this? Do I even need to complete it? I'm struggling to find further information on this online so any advice on what to do would be appreciated.

Thank you.

If you've tried and it's not working, give them a call on Monday morning.

Hi.

If you did not call yesterday, you can drop the team an email and they will be able to look into your record. I am aware that some applicants recently completed the document but experienced an error and the required document was showing as outstanding. The email address for the team is [email protected]

Best wishes,

it seems to have sorted itself out and the form is no longer due! I've also received an offer from Swansea which i'm quite excited about!

Thank you very much for the reply though,
