Hello there, hope you are having a good weekend!

I am Maristella, Esther's colleague, I am sure that, like me, other ambassadors will be happy to share their experience as we all study different courses and we all have a different day depending on priorities and timetables 🙂
In general, the University is very central in the city, so sometimes between classes I find some time to grab a soemthing to eat, a coffee or go back home if necessary; sometimes there are opportunities like events or activities to attend in The Hub or in other campus buildings.. for me it really depends on the amount of classes (hours) I have in a day..

Are you starting uni or thinking about it? If so, what subject/course?

What is a normal day at uni like?

Hello!

Majority of my classes start in the late morning and I tend to be finished with them around mid afternoon but this will vary in each course and semester. My course is quite social and practical with a lot of my classes being workshops with group work and in class tasks. Coventry University as well as my student accommodation are near the city centre so in between and after classes I tend to go to places like Greggs or me and friends just walk around. Even after a few hours in the city I will usually have several hours of free time every evening.

With film production we also have a week or two where there are no classes and we film / complete the main body of our coursework such as scripts, essays or short films. One thing I did not realise until starting university is the amount of free time you have, especially living independently in student accommodation.

I hope this has given you some insight into what a normal day at uni is like!
