Warwick GEM or Undergraduate in UNSW URGENTTT

Dear all,
I am a third year biomedical student and international student. I received a medical school offer from UNSW in Australia starting this coming February 2026 but the course is undergraduate. I also received an interview offer from Warwick GEM but I am not sure if I am good enough for Warwick GEM interview. So I am debating what I should do because medicine is a subject I really wanted to do and this is my 2nd time applying medicine again. I don't want to lose UNSW medical school offer because I can study medicine and Warwick GEM interview is hard and I am scared if I cannot go through Warwick GEM then I will not be able to proceed medicine.

I would DEFINITELY do it in Australia if it was me. You will be able to do Warwick but the opportunities here in the UK right now are not good. Many doctors are heading to Australia to work.

Hi, congrats on getting the Warwick GEM interview. That is already a big achievement.

One thing I would say about Warwick GEM is that it is very clearly designed for graduate students. Everyone on the course already has a degree, so the learning environment feels quite focused and mature. If you are certain about wanting to do medicine, that structure can work really well.

Warwick is also known for its strong clinical focus and a clear pathway into UK medical training, which some people find reassuring when thinking long term. The interview is challenging, but being invited suggests the admissions team already sees potential in your application.

It might help to think about whether a graduate entry setting like Warwick suits how you want to study medicine at this stage.

May I ask for Warwick interview questions whether they are largely focused on medical ethics or work experience for MMI? Hence, I am an international applicant so the medical spaces given out will be less. Do you know the percentage for it?

yep I have seen it. Will it fluctuate slightly based on international
applicants interview score?
