am i screwed

for reference i made 2831 flashcards in total for my gcses. they are my favourite way to revise and i struggle with other kinds of revision.

however...so far this year for history i have made 636...if i carry on with this by the end of y13 i will have about 3600 lol. ik this is kind of unsustainable but i really like flashcards. what do i do???

Since you say unsustainable, I’m thinking that you use actual card make your flashcards, maybe try using Anki app or something similar

nope!! i use studysmarter which i loved for gcses. i could never get my head round anki although that is what my brother told me to use. i like the way studysmarter is set out. tbh if i worked hard i know i could get through them all, i did for gcse.

I made flashcards for GCSE aswell and they helped me alot. However in A levels I dont think flashcards are useful, theres just so much more information it gets very overwhelming and not sure how u could fit it all on flashcards. The course also moves relatively quickly you need to cover topics in a decent speed to stay caughtup to ur class and in my experince flahscards take too long to make. Theres alot of resources tho u can use notes from different teachers on youtube they compile them rly well

the problem is how do you ensure the notes that you make stick in your head 🙂 im very good with keeping up with making flashcards, i generally learn them in a scheduled period (usually a few weeks/months) before assessments.
