Any year 12's confused for what they want to do after A-level?

I mean, I know where I want to go. Im really interested in IT and have been since i was like 3. Thing is idk where i should go. Do i go to uni and get a degree for it or do i go straight to work after A-levels. Or do i apply for a degree apprenticeship and eventually get a degree( there must be a catch to degree apprenticeships cuz they are lowk too good to be true). I wonder if anyone else has the same problem, even in other subjects

Fortunately, apprenticeships are good AND are true. The only downsides of apprenticeships is that itll be like mixing a job and school into one, so you can be easily overwhelmed. For example, I also do an A-level in IT right now, and i was so confused as to what i should do after A-levels, and i ended up deciding to go to University so that i could get a degree while also living independently and doing a subject i love, which is a mix of 3 things. It all depends on what YOU want to do.

If you want to get a job as soon as possible after you leave home, go for an apprenticeship but be ready to work a-lot and hard.
If you want to study IT, live independently and also most likely get a job after you leave, go for a university that suits you.

If you want to ask anything else i can try and help you best as i can since im in year 13 right now 😭
