a levels for law

Hi, I’m planning to do law and I’ve received a fair bit of criticism for not doing a level maths. I’m doing French, history and econ as my a levels and an EPQ, with RE as an AS level.
Thoughts? Could I still get into a good uni as long as I get good grades?

Criticism from whom? There are no required subjects for law.

There are no specific subjects needed for law. Just certain grades (check on unis websites to see what grades they require). So you are free to pick whichever subjects you want. An essay subject may be useful, but isn't actually required.
Pick whichever subjects you want/will enjoy/get the grades in.
The subjects you have chosen are fine.

French, History and Econ are totally fine - no Law degree requires or prefers Maths and I can't fathom why anyone would think it did.

Law, or Law/French - go for it!

History is a very solid essay subject, as is econ. As the others said you don't need maths 🙂 also if you make your epq law-based that will help too!
