I send off my application at 3rd of December, also chemistry with medicinal chemistry.

Oh we're applying for the same course! It's really nice to meet you. Have you heard anything back about interviews? I don't expect them to give out invites around this time because of Christmas, but I honestly don't know. They did send me an email saying they'd be closing for the holidays and reopening on the 5th of January, so perhaps it would be more realistic to expect an update sometime in January.

Just thought I'd make this thread, as there didn't seem to be one specifically for people applying for chemistry. I applied for chemistry with medicinal chemistry on the 10th of December, and got my acknowledgement email 2 days later. Honestly, I'm glad to have finally sent off my application - now all I have to do is wait haha.
Good luck to everyone applying! I hope we all hear back soon about interview invites and get offers in the end.

Hii there, no I haven't received any email about a portal. I don't think they have a portal for undergraduate applicants, but I'm not entirely sure? It's been a while since I applied, so seeing as they didn't give me login details or anything around that time, I don't think they will at any point. Everything should go through UCAS hub anyways, so I don't think we should be worried!

I applied on 3rd December for the same course! I haven't heard anything about interviews yet. Have had offers from everywhere else. I think that if they were going to interview me they would have by now. 😕

Hii there, so nice to meet you! Please don't lose hope about the interview, because apparently they interview up until the end of February. I haven't heard back about an interview either, but I'm trying not to worry, because we're not early applicants (like the Oxbridge people etc), so they might just give us one of the later interviews? I guess we'll just have to wait and hope for the best :frown:

I've gotten 3/5 offers so far, and my predicted grades are 3A*, but they consider everyone on an individual basis and take other things into account too (personal statement, reference, etc) so it's not all about predicted grades! I really think we'll hear soon about interviews anyways, maybe near the end of January.

mine are A*A*A is that okay (i dont wanna sound like im begging it lol its just im rethinking about every aspect of my applications at the stage now lol i also have 3/5 offers)

Noo you don't sound like you're begging at all, I'm second guessing stuff too lol, so I totally get how you feel! Your grades are super good, so I think you should be fine! Congrats on your offers, we both have 3/5 haha - hopefully at the end it will be 5/5.

UCL, but apparently they're known for taking a long time to make a decision 😭 I'm just glad my other choices don't require an interview haha. Which unis do you have offers from?
