deffered modules, previous study

Hello

I need advice,

I was awarded 180 credits for history and politics course at the open uni

I deferred from 2 history and politics modules last year in october 2024, one that I started and another that was scheduled for February 2025 that was deferred before i started - i have also deferred again this year for 1 module last month.

so i have not completed any modules

I deferred last year because of some issues i was having personally and this year because I realized i wanted to change my studies.

I have now decided i want to enroll on Bsc Environmental Science with the open uni

how will this affect my student finance part time funding? will i have to self fund a year or will i be eligible for funding for the entire degree?

Hi there,

How many years of previous study do you have and do you hold any qualifications?

Thanks, Drew

I have 4 years full time previous study in which I didn't achieve a degree, I failed the 3rd year of a politics degree due to various reasons - I don't think so, I completed 2 years at nottibgham uni full time

Hi there. You get up to 16 years of funding for part time course's (if you don't already hold a degree), so you will have enough funding left for another part time course. Thanks, Leah.
