Biggest parts of your application are your TSA and your GCSEs. You must do well / have done well in these to get an interview. Ideally, 70+ in your TSA and all 9/8s at GCSE. After getting an interview, you must perform well in all of them.

I suspect they don't even open your PS sometimes before making a decision, don't bother too much with that.

Unlike Cambridge, Oxford colleges don't matter and you will be pooled if not selected by the college you applied to.
