Oxford Medicine - do I stand a chance?

Has anyone with predicted grades like mine (Biology A, Physics B, Chemistry A, Maths A, English B) gotten into Oxford Medicine? Any tips on the most important things to focus on if I were to apply?

Bro honestly you should drop your B subjects (doing 4 A levels is mostly useless, 5 is just asinine) so you can focus on getting A star grades since med is so hyper competitive. Also lock in for your UCAT next year around Easter or even earlier since it’s easily the most important part of the pre-interview process.

Are you in Y12 or 13? I am assuming Y12 as you would have already applied so this means you have ages to up these right?
I got Bs and Cs at the beginning of Y12 and now have A*A*A* predicted. Drop 1 or 2 of your subjects, will not help anything (only exception to this is further maths) as almost all unis will not even look at the others.
If for some reason you can't change your preds then no don't bother with Oxford unless you have like all 9s at GCSEs and a stunning UCAT to compensate for it

At shortlisting stage, they only look at GCSE and UCAT. Check on this page - https://www.medsci.ox.ac.uk/study/medicine/pre-clinical/statistics

Why are you taking 5 A-levels? The first and, until actioned only, tip is to immediately drop 2 A-levels so you're taking 3, which is the normal and required number for that (and any) degree. You don't get "bonus points" for doing extra A-levels, even if you were predicted 5A*, and if you spread yourself too thin and get lower grades across the board due to taking extra subjects that will NOT ameliorate missing the standard academic requirements in 3 A-levels.
