Mistake on UCAS application

I have made a mistake in the nationality section of my UCAS application where I said No to the question regarding “whether I have settled or pre-settled status in the uk” however I do, I have been living in the uk for around 13 years. I have Dutch passport, I do not have dual nationality, I also have indefinite leave to remain in the Uk.

I believe that this is delaying my offers how can I change this, if I need to email universities how do I go about doing that? I have applied for chemical engineering at UCL, Manchester, Nottingham, Bath and materials engineering at Imperial.

Please help, I am quite stressed.

This is not delaying your university offers, it's just some unis like to take their sweet time to get back to applicants. But best to get it fixed anyway, lest you be classed as an international student! I believe this is the relevant form to change this particular detail on your UCAS application:

https://www.ucas.com/forms/update-my-details-form

And you should email your university options to clarify that you have ILR, which as an EU citizen with more than three years' residence in the UK, should make you a home student - they probably will make you fill out a form asking for extra detail at some point.

Good luck

Thank you for your response, this form is only for changing passport details, DOB, and name is there possibly another form for changing this mistake directly? Also when going about emailing the universities directly, would I use their main email or is there a specific email, I apologise for my confusion.

My bad, I thought that form would also allow for wider nationality/visa updates but I see I was mistaken. So you'll have to call UCAS on 0371 468 0 468, Monday to Friday 8:30AM to 6:00PM to ask them to update your application. Have your UCAS ID handy for them.

For the unis, email their admissions department, which you should be able to find online, or if they have it, via their applicants' portal.
In all honesty this will be a very quick thing to resolve as and when your offers come through. Unless you are applying to Scottish unis
this shouldn’t make any difference as to how your application is considered. Just send evidence of your IDLR; either now or in response to any offers.
