Choice for cardiff sixth form college for A levels

Hello! I am a boarder from Hong Kong who is applying to Cardiff Sixth Form College for A levels in 2026. I have been accepted into both campuses with maths, further maths, physics, and chemistry in the Cambridge campus; however, in the Cardiff campus, I am only allowed to take maths, physics, chemistry, and biology. I am just wondering which offer I should take based on the campus as well as the university pathways I can take with each subject combination

Congrats!! I am not in CSFC but I have heard that the camridge campus would be better in the long run. Although the cardiff campus has just been refurbrished and is a lot newer. Also, most universities look for further maths, especially if you are looking to do engineering/medicine. Both are good but I would go with the cambridge one, if you are looking to get into top universities.

Also, I am applying for the EXACT SAME subjects. I was wondering if you could give me some tips since I am sitting my exams soon. Especially for fm since I have never done it before. Any advice is much appreciated... 😅 ty

The exams for normal maths and science are pretty easy, all questions are from the GCSE syllabus but make sure to learn everything in it just in case they ask you topics you didnt learn in school yet. For fm the questions are mostly to test you critical thinking skills instead of using formulas and advanced content

Okay, thank you so much. Would you say that the exam board matters, as in just wjec or any exam board?

I just used WJEC. That's what they told me to use during my interview

What do you want to do after a levels?
What grades are you working at in sciences and maths?
Do you enjoy biology?
Do you enjoy maths?
How do you revise best/how much do you have to revise for each of maths or sciences generally?
