Coventry Uni Silence???

This is the third time I have applied for a masters degree at Coventry Uni, and every time I get no response, not even a rejection letter. I've tried emailing them multiple times - no response. Just tried calling them for the fourth time - no response. Has anyone else had this problem?

All I can think is that they have serious problems with their online application system, or are so oversubscribed that they don't even need to send a rejection letter.

I haven't had personal experience in not being able to contact a uni regarding studying at it.
Given you've tried emailing and even phoning, and not getting through to someone, it's unprofessional on their part to assist you.

^ You could always try a member of staff from the link above via LinkedIn, or reach out to any students from your previous uni (where you did the undergrad), and see if they have a direct phone number with Cov Uni?

Yeah this is where I've tried emailing, all with no replies! :

Application sent 1/1/2024
Asked for an update 11/1/2024
Asked for an update 16/10/25
Another application sent 20/10/2025
Asked for an update 9/11/2025
Asked for an update 3/11/2025
Asked for an update 15/12/2025

So that's 2 university applications and 5 emails I've sent Coventry University - all WITH NO RESPONSE TO ANY OF MY EMAILS! Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Sent another email on 18th Dec, still no reply. Tried calling the uni but there's a recorded voice saying "our switchboard is now closed until 5th January"! Its actually impossible to get in contact with anyone from the uni.

I can only think that they are on the verge of closing down and so are not taking any new students!
