University Advice (International Applicant)

Hello! I am an international student (with US qualifications) applying to the UK for LLB Law. I would greatly appreciate some honest input as to where I stand from anyone well-versed on this matter.
I sat the LNAT this autumn and scored pretty competitively on section A while section B was okay content-wise, but short as it ended up below the recommended amount of 500-600 words. I also have 5 predicted AP scores of 5 to meet the A-level US equivalent.
I am a bit worried about how top universities will perceive my high school transcript, though. I had very (very...) low grades throughout the early years of high school due to medical complications (explained in the reference). After treatment, I had an upward trend resulting in very nice grades during grades 11 and (currently) 12. My personal statement is academics-heavy and, I would say, objectively good.
I am currently trying to decide between a few universities. So far, I really love Durham, Warwick, KCL, Manchester, and UoN. I would appreciate some thoughts on all this, and where warranted, advice on how those universities *might* read my application. I emailed a few asking whether I am eligible and heard back from them saying that I am, but I do not know much beyond that.
Many thanks!

I'm not an expert, let alone a beginner, in the world of Law, but if you're not hearing from the universities, I would consider using LinkedIn, or joining a Facebook students group for the uni of interest.
Another possible idea is to connect with someone who lives in the areas of interest you want to study in, to see if they can reach out to their friend network / uni contacts and get some feedback on your application.

I hope you enjoy your time in the UK and make the most of it.

Ah, to clarify - I did hear back from the universities regarding eligibility! And that sounds like a good idea, thank you.
