University Accommodation Applications

Hi! I’m due to start university in September 2026. I’ve received 2 offers so far and I’m waiting on the other 3. Could you tell me when I need to apply for student accommodation? Is it after I select my firm and insurance choice? And do I apply for accommodation at both my firm and insurance or just the firm? Thank you!!

It's different at each university. You need to check the procedure at the 5 to which you've applied.

As above, each Uni has a different timetable.

However, DO NOT be swayed by any Uni telling you that 'unless-you-book-your-accomodation-right-now-you-wont-have-anywhere -to-live' as an inducement to go Firm right-now. Think about it - do you really want to go to any Uni that has to use pressure selling to bribe applicants to go there.
