Mpharm interview for both Sunderland

What can I do to prepare for this?

Hi there!

There are many resources on the StudentRoom which has a lot of information to prepare you for the interview. So be sure to look through them - Useful resources for MPharm PS and Interviews - The Student Room

I would look at the Standards of Pharmacy Professional and pick a few that you have demonstrated already and being able to explain it. I would also look at the university course information and be prepared to answer "why this university", "why pharmacy here". Also look at how they structure the interview and whether you need to do extra preparation like chemistry and maths themes.

Hopefully this helped and all the best for you interviews! 😊

Hi,

To prepare for all pharmacy school interviews, I’d recommend reviewing your reasons for wanting to study the course, GPhC standards, ethical/ situational judgment scenarios, organic chemistry and basic pharmaceutical calculations. Practicing with family, friends, or teachers can help you feel more confident answering questions.

Hope this helps, best of luck!

Hello,

I am currently studying at the university of Sunderland and can offer you advice on what to expect.

You should review the GPHC professional
Pharmacist standard and align yourself with them. This will help give you an idea of what it is to be a pharmacist professional.

You probably will be asked why you want to do pharmacy, so reflect on this and also do some research on the careers available within pharmacy and what you might want to do.

You may be asked a situational judgement question.

You may be asked to do a calculation question.

There are examples available online that you can practice.

Good luck!
