ucas points

I am currently studying access to higher education course with the hopes of doing sports rehab at Salford. however, I need to complete almost all my units at distinction level to meet the required ucas points and I am worried that I won't be able to do that. I have previously done btec sport with MM will those points go towards the required ucas points or will I have to meet them solely from the access to higher education course?

Hi @honey badger49

There are normally limits to how many qualifications that can be counted that are often worked out by what is equivalent to 3 or 4 A-Levels which may mean that they are not able to count both your access course and BTEC. However, different universities will accept different combinations of qualifications, so it is best to contact their admissions team to check with them.

Hope that helps!

Hey @honey badger49 ,

Typically if you've done an Access course we'd be looking at your grades from that alone, and our admissions team would usually consider this as your Level 3 qualification when making an offer/decision. I'd recommend having a chat with our Enquiries team directly on [email protected] though, as they'll be able to confirm and chat through more details with you, just in case there's more personal elements to your application!

Thanks,
