maths supercurriculars for uni??

I'm in year 12 and I've been stupid and basically ignored all the supercurriculars my school has given us the links to for the last few months as I wasn't completely interested in many of them and didn't realise that after the autumn term there are hardly any more applications open for events! Not sure what to do now so if anybody has any links to any events eg. lectures that I could apply for that would be amazing! Or anything else I could put on uni applications. I'm looking at maths and biology but mainly maths! Thanks

There are lots of self study resources for the different maths entry exams. You can study the contents of one without taking it.

You need to show at an interview you are committed enough to learn maths that was not part of the A level and be able to talk about why you found it interesting etc.

Don't panic - only a handful of Unis still interview for Maths.

These are also the only universities with an economic justification to do a maths degree compared to getting an enrty level job at Aldi......

And what do you base this incredibly narrow view on.

Also the primary reason to study maths at university is because you love to study maths, so zero point going to a university that admits maths students who have not shown they love to study maths. You learn a lot from the other students who love learning.

Discounted cash flow and number of years to store management for a committed high IQ person who start at entry level in Aldi (for example).
Eg the maths of adult life and being able to buy a home at a reasonable age.

What a mercenary view of the value of education you have.
