UCL student accommodation portal sign-in error

Hi, I'm an international student who got a postgraduate offer from UCL about a week ago. I've been trying to sign up for the UCL accommodation portal for the past few days, but all I get is an error message saying "There has been an error processing your registration, please contact*One Desk IT.". So I contacted One Desk IT, and they said it should be working and told me to try later, in which I was unsuccessful after multiple tries. Does anybody have similar experiences? If so, how did you resolve the problem?

I’m not too sure if i’m right, but i’ve also been offered a place so i’ve been looking for accommodation and it says the applications open in march. Maybe that’s why it doesn’t let you? I haven’t tried to log in yet, but if i manage to get in i’ll let you know.
