UCAS 2026 personal statement won’t save helppp

I’ve just finished my UCAS 2026 personal statement, but when I try to save it, I get the error, “Please correct invalid fields/we could not save your data/please correct valid fields.” I ensured my character count is under 4,000 it shows 3975/4000. I suspect it might be hidden formatting, smart quotes, or punctuation, but I’m not sure exactly what’s causing it.

Technology gets stupid sometimes, I highly doubt it's hidden formatting because that does not get carried when you copy-paste things into the UCAS personal statement box. Save your personal statement somewhere else (word document, for example), and then log out of UCAS, sign in and try again. If that fails too, clear your cookies, or try from another browser, or try again in the morning.
