UCAS application through school or fully independent

I am in a gap year and will be applying to UCAS once I receive predicted grades. My math predicted grade will be from my Year 11 maths teacher, who has been tutoring me in A-level maths this year. My maths exam will be a retake done with my Y13 college.

My Sociology and Physics are being studied on two separate online tutoring platforms. I will take their exams with a sixth form who will let me take them independently.

Should I request to use the buzzwords of my previous college and reapply through them, or directly contact my y13 T-Level DPDD tutor to get a reference.

What degree subject are you applying for?
Was the T Level studied at school, and is that tutor still on the school staff?

Yes the T-level was studied with my college for year 12 and 13. The primary teacher of that course was my reference in the first year but we had a 'Tutor' we saw twice a week for personal development. They reviewed it rather than the primary teacher.

Colleges and Schools are usually not happy about 'private UCAS references' from their own staff and insist on everyone going through the same reference process for reasons of equity and to avoid any sense of favouritism.

Have you actually approached this tutor about writing your reference? And how are they, or your college, going to add predicted grades when they have not actually taught you these A level subjects? Also, you have left all of this very late!

It all seemed rather simple. I have had to get all my A-levels in 1 year, I had to rush those. My predicted grades from the online aren't even out yet. I will contact the college and my Tutor today then I suppose. But just to check, do Universities mind independent vs from a college?

The predicted grades can be told to them by the tutor courses and used the same I believe.
