CPAC independent
As I understand the final grade doesn't require CPAC. However it is compulsory part of all exam boards? So do I as an independent have to take them. Can I pay a school to assess me, and not do the practical components. It's 500< to do them. For Computer Science I have directly asked Universities and they do not expect it. Must I do them?

If the Unis do not require the practical element, its totally okay not to take it - many students don't compete this element because they are taking exams independently, and you can still 'pass' the A level without it.

Not to be pedantic, but just to check, this means that if a sixth-form will let me take an independent exam as long as it is not vocational, I'm completely fine to do exclusively the written assessments for them.

Why don't you just contact the relevant Exam Board and ask them instead.
