Maintenance Loan Request

Hey Student Finance England, i have been looking for courses starting in january and have found the course i am interested in offered at Bournemouth University.

The only issue is that this course is not applicable for Student Finance, as I am a UK student.
I would like to find out whether I would still be eligible for a maintenance loan and no student finance if I start this course? Or would I not get any funding at all and I would have to fully self fund the year?

That course is funded by SFE for full support. Can you confirm what you mean by it not being applicable due to you being a UK student?

Students who join the January intake on this course will not be able to access funding from Student Finance England/Wales/Northern Ireland or SAAS.

They offer both January and September intake, I am mostly interested in January 2026.

Thanks. On the database the course only shows as a September intake and there isn't a January option. In order for the January course to be eligible it would need to show on the database that all universities put eligible courses on.
