medical work experience as a homeschooled student
Unfortunately last year I was going through a really hard time so I missed my gcses. I have planned to do them this year as a private candidate and I am interested in medicine but I'm not quite sure how to get work experience with these setbacks. Does anyone have any advice? Thank you in advance .

You can contact your local hospital about voluntary work - example - Become a volunteer :: Hampshire Hospitals
or there is virtual work-experience from BSMS - BSMS Virtual Work Experience
and - University Hospitals Birmingham Trust Virtual Work Experience - Medic Mentor

by ella34034Thank you so much for the links much appreciated. I think my worry is more about the age , since I'm 16 almost 17 and haven't done my gcses yet , not sure if that would affect things or not.
Some in-person opportunities may be age restricted but its still worth asking. And, if you are too young then just do some charity shop work for now, its all good 'dealing with people' experience.
