It's likely accurate insomuch as you've aggregated info from several sources. Whether you want to put any stock in league tables is up to you and has been debated endlessly. I'm also not sure what the tiers mean or whether they are meaningful.

However, it doesn't really tell you much with regards to careers support and outcomes from those unis. For example, I'd wager that students at most of them are reasonably capable and ambitious, and would have had a good outcome regardless of what uni they went to, IE. it isn't necessarily the uni giving them a boost.

Ranking and League Tables are just marketing-fluff - and no way to choose a degree course.
They cannot tell you if you will like that course or enjoy being at that University.

Go to Open Days, listen to subject presentations, look around, ask questions - and decide where you will feel happiest.

no as different subjects have different values such as durham law.

The simple fact is that any particular 'Uni badge' does not make you any more instantly employable, or more life-long happy or successful, than any other Uni. Its a hard fact for school leavers to get their heads around - that all the stuff about rankings and 'RG' you have been fed at school is essentially a load of old nonsense.

To an extent it's true. I went to Warwick for business and typically when I would attend an assessment centre interview, most of the other candidates had attended Oxbridge, UCL, etc (basically the tier 1 universities you listed).

However, employers are increasingly disregarding your university when they screen applications, and of course depending on what subject you studied, the desirability of your university can change. But I disagree with some of the other comments here that these rankings are nonsense... it's definitely true that certain universities are still more desirable for some employers, although I do think this is changing.
