It's not too late to apply!

As the early UCAS deadline approaches, we wanted to share a friendly reminder for anyone preparing to submit their application. This is an exciting step, and a little preparation now can make the process much smoother.

Before you submit, make sure your application includes at least one academic reference and a completed personal statement. Your personal statement is your chance to show your interest in the course, your motivation to study at university, and what you hope to do in the future. Taking time to check spelling, structure, and clarity can really help your application stand out.

If you are applying through your school or college, it is important to submit your application well ahead of the UCAS deadline. After you submit, your school or college still needs time to add your reference and approve your application before it is sent to UCAS. Submitting early helps avoid delays and last minute stress.

It is also a good idea to double check entry requirements, predicted grades, and whether you may be eligible for a contextual offer. UCAS allows up to five choices, so think carefully about a balanced selection of courses that interest you.
