Nursing at Uni of Leeds interview

Hey!! I have my children’s nursing interview for the uni of Leeds soon and they told me to read an article and watch a video. Does anyone have any advice/tips for the interview or even what type of questions they could ask, I would really appreciate it!!! 😊

Unfortunately nobody can give you exact details of questions you will be asked because every interview they change the questions asked so nobody can give it to others just because of fairness.

Read any documents and videos that you were asked to research on for your interview as this is what you'll be asked about so get researching. Prepare as much as you can prior to the interview and then do your up most best on the day 😉

Some examples of questions ⁉️ ⁉️
1. Why children nursing instead of another nursing field
2. Why choose this particular university for your degree
3. NMC code of practice read this
4. NHS core values
5. What's happened in your local health boards right now and generally the whole of the NHS
6. Can you cope with stress at work as a nurse as if not what do you do if you feel stressed at work
7. Read over your personal statement incase you asked about anything in it
8. The 6 C's of nursing

Have a list of any questions you wish to ask at the end of your interview as you should get a opportunity to ask them questions.

Try not to be severely nervous when doing your interview but don't worry as the interviewer will help you calm down as they understand you might be nervous okay.

Can't unfortunately give you anything else because need to be fair for anyone else who is doing the same interview as yourself.

Hi @Jessx_41 It wouldn't be appropriate to gain an answer for what type of questions would be asked as this would give you an unfair advantage. My general advice would be to make sure you have read the article in depth as it could help with knowledge. Also reading about current news surrounding children's nursing.
