has anyone had a heriot watt offer yet?

as the title says really
i’ve got one offer back so far but ive heard strath is taking a really long time, and i haven’t heard anything at all about heriot
it’s probably my second if not top choice, so i’d really like to hear back from them
every email is stressing me out right now 😂

I’ve applied to Heriot Watt and Strathclyde and I haven’t heard back, I’ve heard of two people getting unconditional offers from HW but they both had really good grades so that’s probably why they got offers so quickly

yeah my grades were kind of mid (AABCC) but i had pretty decent predicteds: AA in AH and AB in H) so i don’t expect it to me instantaneous
i’m not holding my breath, the longer it takes the longer i have to decide on my imaginary offers
i’m really stuck choosing between heriot and strath (ggow too but they told me at a ucas fair they wouldn’t even consider me so..!)

Yeah me too with Glasgow 😭😭 my grades aren’t horrible but both HW and Glasgow seemed like they would definitely ask for another A or B, the two people I knew who got unconditionals straight away got like full As and I’ve only gotten like ABBBD with one from a foundation apprenticeship, so I’m hoping I get a conditional at the very least !!

HW unconditional offer for my son for computing science received before Christmas, nothing from Strathclyde yet

yeah the lady from the glasgow stall i think was really busy, the line was really long, she didn’t seem to be in a good mood off the bat but i went up and was like “hey this was the minimum i needed [ ] but i got [ ]” (ONE B short, min was BBBB) then she cut me off “yeah we wouldn’t even consider you”
the guy from HW was really nice!!! he was so optimistic and trying to work my grades out with me, he said i probably needed a B in adv maths probably and another A at higher, but said if be sorted after that
i think he half convinced me to go to heriot in that five minute conversation, he was SO nice

I applied on a Wednesday at the end of November and got my conditional back on the friday of the same week (marketing)

Literally all the same things happened for me 💔💔 only thing when I spoke to the HW lady for admissions she seemed to think that foundation apprenticeships aren’t counted as grades but when I looked it up they do count them?? Strange but if u get in let me know!!
