ATAS Timeline Query – December Submissions (Computer Science, PhD)

Hi everyone,
I’m looking for some insight from others who may have submitted ATAS applications around early December.
I have submitted two separate ATAS applications for two different UK universities:
• CAH3 code: Computer Science
• Level: PhD
• Topics: Different research topics (both within Computer Science)
Submission dates:
• First application: 4 December
• Second application: 8 December
I understand that processing times are likely to be longer due to the Christmas and New Year holiday period, which may affect decision timelines.
At this stage, I would like to ask:
• When can I realistically expect a decision for applications submitted in early December?
• Has anyone else submitted ATAS applications around 4–8 December and received an update or decision yet?
Any shared timelines or experiences would be really helpful.
