Y12 Work Experience

I am currently in year 12 and cannot for the life of me find work experience. I would like to go into psychology/cognitive neuroscience, but getting work experience in that field is virtually impossible, and so at this point I'm open to relatively anything. My sixth form has told me virtual work experience is a last resort, and the one place I've contacted has been going through applications for over a month. Please help 🥀🥀

Study Forum Helper

Look at programs like in2stem for more research or relevant opportunities. Also if you have a uni locally you could ask to shadow an academic if that's of interest perhaps. You could look at volunteering at a school, they are often open to volunteers and you can get experience working with people directly. Special schools could also be a good place to volunteer if anything to do with disability or mental health interests you.
