I would say Aston. Its one of the top universities for biomedical engineering. Got quite a few mates doing their MEng here at Aston, and they enjoy it. I can't personally comment as I do mechanical engineering, though we did share a few modules in the first year. I believe it is accredited with the imeche.

University of York is a russel group, so in terms of job opportunities, studying at a Russell group uni can realllyyy help

I recently completed the MEng in Biomedical Engineering at University of York (at the time it was called Medical Engineering). Picking it over Aston is a no-brainer. York is a Russell Group University, and will set you up for more opportunities. The Accreditation is not that important (I'm MIET a few months after graduating), lower rank unis boast about their accreditation to make their courses more appealing.

Hi, you don't pay extra for accreditation of the degree. Instead, what happens is you pay a fee to join the engineering body to receive titles such as MIET etc. (you pay this regardless of whether your degree is accredited or not). Job opportunities are good in my opinion, depends on what you want to get into. Industry is strong for medtech, especially in Yorkshire and the South. Academia is solid and getting better with the recent stipend increases. Congrats on Exeter!
