Emergency ucas application law 2026
Hi, I am planning to apply for law for university, the unis I am planning to apply for are:
Law LLB UCL, Law LLB KCL, QMUOL Law, University of Nottingham Law, University of Manchester Law.
I did my LNAT and I averaged 28 and 17 twice inside of my practice tests, so maybe I may get 23? My section B i think went okay and I had time to read through it.
I only recently got my mock grades back, and they predicted me ABB from my A* C C, However, in my year 12 end of year mocks I achieved and A* A B (B in english) and A* in politics and A in sociology, where in the year 13 mocks I got an A* in english, a C in sociology and and C in politics, I want to have and A* A A for my UCAS application, so I asked to increase all my year 13 predicted by one grade, and 2 of my teachers so far (English and politics) told me to wait till after December holidays to redo my lower exams so they have proof im capable of A* A A, should I keep these grades? Or should I apply now? I am capable of receiving a contextual for qmuol, but ucl is my dream ☹️☹️ what do I do? I consistently got A* all of year 12 and received all gcses 9s,7s and 6s. Is it worth it, please help

What does applying now achieve? What might applying after the holidays achieve?

If I apply now i feel like i can get contextual for some schools, but UCL is just fully out of the picture if I do now

But you can get contextual offers after December as well. They don't vanish as the clock strikes 2026.

Would i be disadvantaged for ucl and kcl? Sorry so is your advice to redo those papers? Thankyou

So long as you apply by the January deadline you won’t be disadvantaged at all.
